The testing of the AmyL signal peptide was conducted in Lactobacillus crispatus ATCC 33802, utilizing the pMG36E plasmid sourced from AddGene.

The amino acid sequence of the AmyL signal peptide was originally documented in the work of Tran, A. M. et al. [1]. It was reverse-translated to align with the genome of Lactococcus lactis using Benchling.
